7-Eleven® and Stripes® Stores are Helping Change Kids’ Health at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Through January 10

Children’s hospitals are on the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations. But they can’t do it alone. 7-Eleven® and Stripes® stores are helping their neighbors meet everyday needs through its Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) campaign.

Through the campaign, 7-Eleven and Stripes stores want to make a difference by giving families at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio the support they need to help kids receive the best possible care. 100% of donations made through CMN Hospitals campaigns benefit local children’s hospitals and support the health and well-being of kids through critical life-saving treatments and health care services, allowing them the opportunity to grow to their full potential. Together, we can build a better tomorrow.

Donate $1 at the register or round up your purchase during check-out today at participating 7-Eleven and Stripes stores and come together to help make our community stronger and safer for patients at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. When you make a gift, you help fund medical treatments, equipment, and facilities, to ensure that children live healthy, fulfilling lives, helping to foster the inventors, artists, leaders, and families of tomorrow.

Patients like Archie depend on the care he receives at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

Archie’s parents could not wait to see their growing little boy at their 20-week anatomy scan. That day, Gloria, Archie’s mom, was told it looked like her son had a cleft lip that would need surgical repair. Archie received life-changing surgery shortly after he was born and began to adjust beautifully. A few months later, Gloria noticed Archie’s eyes were moving in odd ways and could tell he wasn’t truly focusing. They visited an ophthalmologist who confirmed Archie had
septo-optic dysplasia, a rare disorder characterized by abnormal development of the optic disk. Archie’s neurologist told Gloria that Archie would be nearly blind. Archie quickly started seeing a vision therapist and doctors soon realized that his vision is better than they ever expected it to be.

Donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support several programs that give kids like Archie a chance to grow up and live happy, healthy lives.

You can help 7-Eleven and Stripes stores help The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio transform kids’ and families’ lives in our community now and well into the future. Consider a gift during your next stop.
