Help Kids on National Video Games Day!

It’s National Video Games Day! We have some great ideas that will help you celebrate the day, while making a difference for kids at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

Make a donation at a GameStop Store:

Celebrate the day by stocking up on some new video games at your local GameStop store! When you check out at the register, you can donate $1, $5, $10 or round up your change to the nearest dollar and half of your donation will benefit The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

GameStop will be helping local kids get back to being kids by asking for donations between August 29 and September 30.

Celebrate National Video Games Day by registering for Extra Life!

Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids across the country.

Last year, local Extra Life participants across the San Antonio area raised more than $60,000 for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Foundation. Register today and join local gamers of all levels and from all categories — console, mobile, PC, table top, etc. — to save and improve the lives of kids treated at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.
