We’re celebrating credit unions on International Credit Unions Day October 15, 2020!
Local credit unions participating in Credit Unions for Kids have raised more than $4,554,326 for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio! Adding up to more than $200 million and counting nationally since 1997. On October 15, we are celebrating all of our amazing credit union partners who continue to make an immeasurable difference in the lives of kids treated at The Children’s Hospital.
Kids like Katherine. Katherine is the tiniest baby to survive in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. She was born at The Children’s Hospital on May 7, 2018, at 25 weeks gestation, weighing just 11.9 ounces. She became the 63rd smallest survivor in the world! Today, Katherine is happy and healthy. She loves to sing songs with her mom and play outside with her brother, Jackson.
We believe that when we positively change the health of even one child, we create a ripple effect felt by our communities for years to come. When we ensure our children can lead healthy, fulfilling lives, we foster the scientists, inventors, artists, and leaders of tomorrow.
Big shout out to all our credit unions out there fundraising to help change kids’ health and change the future. Happy #ICUDay!
