The 2021 Walmart, Neighborhood Markets, and Sam’s Club #HelpKidsLiveBetter fundraising campaign benefiting The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) member, begins July 28 and will run through July 25. There are several ways you can contribute! Customers and members can donate any dollar amount at the register, or simply choose to round-up your purchase to the next dollar and donate your change in-store or while shopping online. Customers and members can help spread the word about the campaign via social media using the hashtag #HelpKidsLiveBetter. You can also donate at

Walmart and Sam’s Club joined the CMN Hospitals fundraising family in 1987, with Sam Walton himself personally involved in the beginning of the relationship between the organizations. The #HelpKidsLiveBetter campaign supports Walmart’s goal of giving back to local communities.

To date, total fundraising from Walmart, Neighborhood Markets, and Sam’s Club for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is more than $1 billion; the largest cash amount ever raised by one company for a non-profit in North America. More than $8 million has been raised for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio and those funds help support medical care, research, equipment, education, and so much more.

Walmart, Neighborhood Markets, and Sam’s Club associates across the country will rally behind the CMN Hospitals campaign, now in its 34th year, to ensure kids and their families are supported during the most critical time in their lives. With 62 children entering a CMN Hospital every minute, and 10 million annually, the need for adequate health care is as important now than it has ever been.

No matter where you are, whether shopping in a store or club or online, you have the chance to change children’s health by supporting The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio through the #HelpKidsLiveBetter campaign. Every dollar raised stays in our community to support local kids and families, creating a ripple effect that will positively impact our community and our world for years to come.
