Get Ready for Ride of a Life Time

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is once again teaming up with Life Time Fitness for Ride of a Life Time, a charity cycle event, to make a positive impact on kids’ health in our community and beyond. With a goal of raising $1.5 million, this event will benefit both The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, to fund our most urgent needs, and the Life Time Foundation, which works with local school districts to eliminate harmful and artificial ingredients from their meal programs.

On April 29, Life Time locations across the country will host the Ride of a Life Time charity cycle event. Life Time members and the community-at-large are encouraged to participate, with two options available to help kids live better, healthier lives:

  • Ride at Life Time: More than 157 Life Time athletic resorts across the country will host rides in their premier indoor cycle studios. Riders can choose to ride for one to four hours as this in-person event featuring Life Time’s popular AMP, EDG, and PWR indoor cycle signature formats.
  • Ride at Home: Ride at home (or wherever you are) virtually during a livestream event.

There is no registration fee for Ride of a Life Time. Every participant is asked to raise a minimum of $250 for the causes and 100% of all donations will be equally split among the two charities. This event is open to both Life Time members and the general public.

There are two Life Time Fitness clubs in San Antonio that you can participate with: The Rim and San Antonio 281Register today!

Your donations help kids like Marceline and Phoebe. These twin sisters were born at 23-weeks-gestation at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels. The twins both weighed just a little over one pound each and were extremely frail. Marceline and Phoebe were immediately airlifted to The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio for further treatment and were admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Upon arrival, doctors quickly got to work to care for these tiny girls. Phoebe underwent surgery right away to repair a small bowel perforation and continued to have surgeries on her GI tract. Marceline had extra blood flowing to her lungs and received surgery to close the artery as well as surgeries to correct cranial abnormalities. Today, Marceline and Phoebe are two fiery five-year-olds and are active members of our Patient Ambassador Club.
