Walmart and Sam’s Club Stores Launch into Summertime Fundraising

It’s heating up outside, and local Walmart and Sam’s Club stores are red hot with excitement raising funds for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio during the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) campaign.

From June 10 through July 7, shoppers will have the chance to add donations of $1, $5, $10, or any other amount during check-out.

Money raised in our geographical area (San Antonio, Victoria, and Laredo) Walmart and Sam’s Club stores goes directly to benefit the sick and injured kids treated at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. Funds are used to help fund equipment, research, supplies, charitable care, and a variety of other needs the hospital has.

Walmart and Sam’s Club associates will also host a variety of Children’s Hospital fundraisers during the campaign, including bake sales, sports tournaments, contests, and more.

2018’s campaign raised over $496,000 for The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio, pushing Walmart over the $1 billion raised mark since 1987. Associates continue to challenge themselves and their teams to continue to raise more.

LET’S GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO ALL OF THE AMAZING WALMART AND SAM’S CLUB ASSOCIATES!

“Walmart Associates are fired up to raise funds for such a great organization, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio,” said Brad Ausdemore, Walmart Market Manager, Market 77. “With the help of our community and customers, we hope to raise much needed funds for our children’s hospital.”

Customers visiting Walmart & Sam’s Club stores are encouraged to help spread the word about the campaign using the hashtag #HelpKidsLiveBetter on social media!
